Science says:
“Hypnotizing women undergoing breast cancer surgery could speed their recovery and reduce the odds of the disease returning. Using a combination of hypnotism and local anesthetic to put patients under also allows quicker discharge from hospital and leaves patients more satisfied overall.” These are the recommendations from Belgian anesthetists who already routinely put patients having breast and thyroid operations in pain-relieving trances.

There may be another important benefit to cancer patients. Professor Fabienne Roelants, of the Universite Catholique de Louvain, or UCL, in Brussels, said: “In addition to reducing drug use and hospital stay time, being able to avoid general anesthesia in breast cancer surgery is important because we know that local anesthesia can block the body's stress response to surgery and therefore reduce the possible spread (of the tumor).”

Professor Roelants says, “There is still a lot of debate around the exact mechanism that allows hypnosis to reduce pain perception, but what it absolutely clear is that it does so. The result is that one third of thyroidectomies and a quarter of all breast cancer surgery carried out at the UCL hospitals are performed under local anesthetic with the patient under hypnosis.”

It is recommended that the session is preceded by a well balanced meal, and a good night of sleep, without alcohol or drugs in the system at time of the session.

Welcome to Eagles Wings Therapy Groups. I am currently in Waterloo, Iowa after time in Los Angeles for some updates. The office in Utica MN is closed but if you are in the Twin Cities, I can meet you in St. Louis Park.
Update training includes:
pre and post surgery hypnosis, only with a doctor (M.D.), referral. Guided Imagery for Compassion Fatigue, hospice work and grieving groups, with (new sessions available for clients who do not want hypnosis, and groups are added for past life hypnosis, and a special stop smoking group that includes some guided imangery and an introduction to hypnosis, but is not meant to replace the full hour stop smoking session, if desired.

You have reached this page, because something inside you is drawn to explore you, your subconscious, your dreams, and your wellbeing. There are endless forces encouraging you, from the invisible realm, and you are called to joy and peace. And as usual in any and all types of "therapy" there is no guarantee, of course, but we will do everything we can, you, working on a conscious and subconscious level, and me, helping you get to the level your subconscious will allow. All is freedom of will and choice.

Hypnosis therapy is for vocational and avocational purposes only and any medical, psychological or dental issues may require referrals to proceed, and pre and post surgery or pain hypnoanesthesia will require a doctor's advisement. Jaine Benson is a highly trained hypnosis therapist from the accredited HMI Institute in Tarzana California, and in addition, the Dolores Cannon Method as well. The two methods are different in the length of time the session takes and are polar opposites as to the work of the subconscious, so it is nice to have several options.
